DonorsChoose is a crowdfunding platform for public education that connects citizen and corporate donors to public school classrooms throughout the United States.
To have DonorsChoose fund your StoryJumper order:
- go to https://www.storyjumper.com/order/quote to generate your StoryJumper price quote. You can download the price quote as a PDF file.
- go to DonorsChoose: https://www.donorschoose.org and log into your DonorsChoose account. If you don't have a DonorsChoose account, yet, confirm your school eligibility and set up an account.
- create a "Special Request" project. You need at least 6 points to create a Special Request. Typically, teachers need to have funded and completed thank you packages for at least two projects to gain 6 points and be eligible.
- check to see when your special request project has been approved and funded on DonorsChoose
- after your students finish their books, go to StoryJumper and order their books. Choose the Purchase Order payment method, which requires a minimum order size of at least $150. Your order will be put on hold.
- download the StoryJumper invoice and upload it to your DonorsChoose Special Request project to request payment by a check.
- email the funding confirmation (screenshot or PDF) to support@storyjumper.com
- we'll take your order off hold and start publishing your books!
